Baron de Lestac invites you to discover a limited-edition cuvée like no other, carefully aged using fired oak barrels, a special technique inspired by the world of fine spirits. The wine is aged in intensely toasted barrels, allowing the natural compounds of the oak to infuse the wine with extraordinary aromatic richness over six months.

Tasting notes
Appearance: Deep, intense garnet red color.
Nose: Powerful aromas of ripe red fruits with notes of toast and spices.
Palate: Full-bodied and round, with a fine balance between oak aging intensity and ripe fruit expression.
Best enjoyed between 16°C and 18°C
Grape Varieties
The 2023 vintage blends Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Merlot adds roundness, suppleness, and ripe red fruit aromas, while Cabernet Sauvignon brings depth, fine tannins, and notes of black fruits and sweet spices. Grown on diverse terroirs of fresh soils and gravel, this wine is both generous and elegant.
Winemaking
Carefully selected partner growers provide the best plots. After a short pre-fermentation maceration, fermentation occurs at 28-30°C, followed by six months of oak aging in our cellar.
